Much of our work could not be achieved without working in partnership with others. The Chamber participates in the following partnerships:
- Edinburgh Childcare Partnership
- The Childcare Partnership and Information Service has been serving the Edinburgh Childcare Sector since 1999. We provide support to Childcare providers through FUNDING and TRAINING and help parents and carers find childcare of their choice.
- Edinburgh and Lothian Local Economic Forum
- The Scottish Executive issued National guidelines for Local Economic Forums in March 2001 following wide-ranging consultation. The concept was put forward by the Scottish Parliament's Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Committee following their inquiry into local economic development. The role of the Forum is to agree a programme of action for the streamlining and improvement of the local delivery of services.
- Capital City Partnership
- The Capital City Partnership is a partnership of key statutory, voluntary and community agencies in the city working together to promote social inclusion and achieve social justice for the people of Edinburgh.
- Joined Up for Jobs
- The Joined Up For Jobs website sets out how Edinburgh aims to help people who need work get a job and enjoy long-term employment - especially those who are furthest from the jobs market.
- Edinburgh Tourism Action Group Skills Forum
- Previously known as the World Class Business Base, this sub-group of the Edinburgh Tourism Action Group focuses specifically on recruitment, retention, training and communication issues within tourism throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
