The Emerging Policy and Proposals Sub Group of the Transport Policy group:

Membership

Remit

1. To establish the relevant national, regional and local policy framework affecting Edinburgh transport
2. To confirm the timescales for review of each of those policy documents, plans and strategies
3. To prepare an indicative programme for preparing and making submissions on behalf of the Chamber to consultation documents and policies
4. To alert Chamber Members to key dates for consultation responses by publication on the website
5. To collate information to submit to relevant transport authorities on their transport strategies
6. To maintain a schedule of issues/projects of interest to the Transport Group to inform any submissions made on behalf of the Chamber
7. To provide administrative support to other groups in preparing submissions on transport topics within their remit
8. To monitor news/media coverage for emerging projects that may be of interest to the Transport Group and to report thereon at each meeting
