Dear Tourism Policy Group,
As you may have heard, the Tourism Minister Fergus Ewing declared at the ETAG conference last week the proposed Bed Tax on hotels in the city of Edinburgh exists no longer, as the link below to an article from yesterday's Evening News confirms. This is a victory for sensible lobbying from Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and the focus will now turn to the potential for Tourism Business Investment District (BID).
