Our campaigning work is channelled through the following policy groups, to which all our members are warmly encouraged to join or contribute.
Education and Skills Policy Group
The Group focusses on promoting business education and skills, co-operating with other policy groups to hear sector-specific needs and approaches.
Property Development Policy Group
This Group addresses the concerns of property developers and creates bridges with all stakeholders in the development process at the heart of Edinburgh's economic development.
Retail Policy Group
The Retail Policy Group has a remit to explore the needs and issues arising for city retailers and to advise on policy appropriate to this important industry's concerns.
Tourism Policy Group
Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce recognises Tourism as a key sector in the city's economy, and our Tourism Policy Group is one of the longest standing.
Transport Policy Group
The Transport Group aims to ensure a strategic business vision is maintained at a local, regional and national level regarding transport issues and their effect on business.
Technology Policy Group
The Technology Policy Group meets on a regular basis to tackle issues relating to technology-based businesses, as well as to discuss how all Edinburgh businesses can use technology to their advantage.
Renewable Energy Policy Group
This Group concentrates on the exciting development opportunities for the sector in the Edinburgh City Region. Membership crosses the boundaries between the engineering aspects of the industry and the support services that enable its spectacular growth.
