The Chamber's transport group is engaged in a thorough review of the proposals (currently before Parliament) to build two tramlines in Edinburgh.
Tramline 1 proposes a circular route taking in Haymarket, the Western General Hospital, Granton and the new Waterfront development and Leith, returning via Princes Street.
Tramline 2 will run from St Andrew Square, via West Edinburgh and the airport to Newbridge roundabout.
