In response to concern over fuel supplies in Scotland, BAA is advising passengers using Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports to continue to fly as normal. Fuel supplies to our airports are continuing and reserves are healthy.
As a precautionary measure, BAA Scotland has advised airlines to refuel at the point of origin where possible in order to safeguard fuel reserves. Detailed contingency plans are in place to ensure ongoing operations at our airports.
BAA continues to monitor the situation closely, but they are confident that our contingency plans are robust, and we are working hard to ensure that there is no disruption to our passengers.
