Stakeholder consultation invite

The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework Partnership has coordinated a study reviewing the recognition of learning and skills for migrant workers and refugees in Scotland. As a result, a number of possible models for Scotland have emerged and they now want to consult with stakeholders in June on each of these models.

The outcome of the study will provide Scottish Government with a number of options on the ways that the recognition of learning and skills for migrant workers and refugees can best be addressed in Scotland.

As a result of the wealth of information these activities have provided a number of possible models have emerged and they are now planning to consult with a wide range of stakeholders on the benefits and implications of each of these models for Scotland, the outcome of which will be submitted to Scottish Government for their consideration.

Three final consultation events will be held on:
22 June 2010 Apex Hotel Edinburgh
24 June 2010 Cowan House Inverness
25 June 2010 Glasgow Metropolitan College Glasgow

Each event will begin at 10.00am (Registration and Coffee) and will conclude with lunch at 13.00. There will be no cost to participants at any of the 3 venues or events.
