Posted Thursday 4 March 2010 15:00 GMT
A summary of the Planning Concordat drafted by the Edinburgh Development Forum is now available to view.
The Edinburgh Development Forum provides a 'one stop shop' for the development industry to engage with the planning system in the city. It meets about four times a year. The role and purpose of the Forum is to encourage a widespread understanding of the planning process and oversee the successful implementation of planning reforms in the city of Edinburgh. The Forum will consider how a more effective partnership between developers, planners and communities can be developed to facilitate investment and development in Edinburgh. The Forum would aim to listen, share ideas, recognise due process and resolve disagreements. Find out more about the Edinburgh Development Forum.
