Edinburgh Chamber looking for new council members 2010

Interested in becoming more involved with your Chamber?

Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce are looking to appoint new council members and would like to invite all members to nominate themselves.

Interested applicants should complete an application form and return it to Cheryl Symon, Secretary, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, Capital House 2 Festival Square, Edinburgh EH3 9SU by close of business on 16 August 2010.

Procedure for Council Membership

All applicants will be considered by the Operating Board and the Nominations Committee before names are presented to the Council. The aim is to have a Council that is representative of the membership of the Chamber. Applications will therefore be considered on type of business, size of company, etc. The wish is also to have a gender balance. Following Council's deliberations at their next meeting, names will be submitted to the membership at the AGM held in September.
