Free job adverts for members on Chamber website

We're calling on members to submit details NOW re any internal vacancies that you plan for advertise from the start of February onwards, so that we can post free job ads for you on our new Edinburgh Chamber Recruitment Online (ECRO) service.

ECRO, which is being launched at the start of February, includes a jobs board where members can post any internal vacancies, free of charge, and we are currently looking for pioneering members to submit details NOW to ensure we have some job ads on the site when it goes live!

All you have to do is email us 50-300 words regarding your vacancy (or vacancies) in a Word document (or in the body of an email) and ensure you have formatted it as you want it to appear in the advert - e.g. ensure headings you want to highlight are in bold; listings you want to bullet point are listed in bullet points etc.

The more vacancies that are listed on the ECRO jobs board when the service goes live, the faster we will be able to drive traffic to it, and the more people that check the board and use it to advertise jobs, the sooner it will become a truly useful, added-value tool for you.

Once this new service is fully up and running you will be able to post your job ads on the jobs board yourself, but in the run up to the launch, we will upload any vacancies to ensure they are on the board when the service launches.

The jobs board will be visible from our public site, within 'Membership'/'Savings for your business', so that anyone who visits the site can see the vacancies and apply, but only members will be able to post jobs onto the board. ECRO will also give members access to a vast range of recruitment tips and advice, best practice guidelines and an online recruitment tool kit.

Please note: Recruitment agencies are not allowed to use the ECRO jobs board to advertise clients' vacancies, although they may of course use the board for their own, internal, vacancies, like any other member business.
