A big-hearted pet supplement maker is set to provide a lead-ing example by raising much-needed funds for Scotland’s many stray and abandoned animals.

Pawbits has today launched a partnership with Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, which will see £1 from every product sold donated to support the Home’s rescuing, reuniting and rehoming activities.

Edinburgh-based Pawbits, a maker of supplements which focus on joint care and easing pet anxiety, believes it is getting involved at a vital time – at the start of a new year when the home will face running costs up to £2million to continue caring for the city’s unwanted pets.

Alanna Kibiloski, Special Gifts Fundraiser at Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, said:

“Funds raised through the sale of Pawbits will be used to provide essential food, shelter and vital veterinary care for the hundreds of animals that come through our door on an annual basis.
