2018 is getting off to an exciting start as we prepare to rebrand SortmyPC. Say hello to IT Centric.

Posted: 14th February 2018

This month we are delighted to unveil our new name, strapline and logo which reflect both the evolution of the company and our vision for the future. Having grown over the last 15 years into one of Edinburgh’s leading Managed IT Service providers, we recognise that the SortmyPC name no longer reflects the core business offering of the company.

15 years ago we were sorting PCs in a garden shed! Fast forward to 2018 and we have grown into an IT service provider now supporting over 1100 workstations, 1500 users and 100 SMEs. And it’s not just about IT support – our project and consultancy work covers everything from network infrastructure design, build and maintenance to server solutions, security planning and cloud services. So much more than sorting PCs.

Working closely with Scooter Digital to create a new company name and identity, we feel that IT Centric communicates our unique approach – combining advanced support technology with friendly, professional delivery. The IT Centric ethos is to provide innovative solutions and think creatively to meet the needs of our clients – we firmly believe there is always a solution!

Gordon Sayers, Managing Director explains “SortmyPC has served the business well for the last 15 years. However, the growth of the business and breadth of our service provision meant that we had outgrown the name – we now do so much more than fix PCs! IT Centric is a perfect fit for the business and will carry us forward into the next 10 years.”

So, throughout February we will be introducing IT Centric. We’ll still be the same team providing clients with the service & support they expect, that wont change, but a few things will look different as we introduce our new branding across our business.

We’re very excited about this next phase of our business development. If you’ve any questions at all about our rebrand or would like to discuss IT support, project delivery or IT consultancy, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
