Contract win for Anglian Water Business

Posted: 24th February 2017

National water retailer, Anglian Water Business (AWB), has secured another contract win, building on major contract successes already secured last year.

The company, which has offices in Edinburgh and Peterborough, has secured a three-year contract with commercial managing agent, Property Initiatives.

AWB will provide water billing services to The Capital Building in St Andrew Square, Edinburgh, managed by Property Initiatives.

Offering competitive pricing that will help reduce costs, the deal was secured and the transfer to AWB undertaken through utility consultant, LSI Energy.

AWB already provides billing and water efficiency services to some of Scotland’s biggest businesses, saving them water and money. Key contracts include branches of ASDA; Betfred and Scottish company Starwood Hotels, who run the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh, Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, and Greene King, who run Scotland’s Belhaven pub chain.

Earlier in 2016 AWB commenced a major Scottish Government contract to provide water billing services to more than 200 public sector organisations, with over 15,000 sites ranging from schools and colleges, to hospitals and council buildings

Tony March, Business Development Manager for Anglian Water Business, said:

“We are delighted to have secured this contract, focusing on offering competitive pricing and improving efficiency that helps reduce costs.

“This recent success builds on those made last year as we make savings for organisations, benefiting not only them but also the environment.”

Richard Stokes, Managing Director of Property Initiatives said:

“We are delighted to be signing this contract with Anglian Water Business and are confident that we will reduce costs through competitive pricing.”
