At the AGM of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday 12 October 2016 Liz McAreavey was formally appointed as the Chief Executive. 

Scott Black, President, warmly congratulated Liz on her achievements as Acting CEO since April 2016.  She was commended for her enthusiasm, professionalism and energy and the strategy she presented to the Board has been approved.
