PBA to advise on options for an infrastructure levy across Scotland

Posted: 29th September 2016

Peter Brett Associates has today issued a release announcing its appointment by the Scottish Government to lead a research project to identify and assess the options for the introduction of an infrastructure charging mechanism across Scotland.

PBA will be leading a multi-disciplinary team comprised of Brodies LLP, Cushman & Wakefield and TradeRisks, all leading organisations who are experienced in the field of infrastructure funding delivery and the legal applications of such actions.

The findings from the research will be used to inform the development of a white paper to be published at the end of the year. Following the consultation period, it is expected that PBA will provide more detailed advice on technical options which could be taken forward in future planning legislation.

You can view the full press release on the PBA website here.
