Welcome to our recruitment support service for members, Edinburgh Chamber Recruitment Online (ECRO). ECRO is delivered in partnership with SME Resourcing, and includes:
- A job board where members can post their job vacancies for free - members and non-members alike can view the vacancies, but only members can post jobs on the board
- A range of free recruitment best practice advice, as well as access to a discounted toolkit to help manage your recruitment process more effectively - only members can access this part of the service
Please note that our ECRO facility is not intended to replace the valuable service delivered by recruitment agencies, but is designed to provide additional support to businesses who want to manage their recruitment internally.

The recruitment toolkit
Use our best practice toolkit to help manage your recruitment process. The toolkit is designed to assist Chamber members who want to handle the recruitment process internally to source, interview, asses and hire the best talent in the market quickly, cost-effectively and legally.
To access the toolkit, login as a member on the Chamber website, then click on the 'Go to the Member Area...' link on the Welcome page. Once in the Member area, click on the 'Members' recruitment toolkit' link. Alternatively, login as a member, then navigate back to this page (Membership/Savings for your business/Edinburgh Chamber Recruitment Online) and follow the link that will have appeared at the foot of this page under the heading 'Accessing the recruitment toolkit'.
Please note that you need to register as a user within the ECRO toolkit - just click on the 'Register' link in the menu on the right hand side of the recruitment toolkit page and fill in your details. You can select whatever user name and password you want when registering on the toolkit, or just use your Chamber member user name and password if you prefer.
Posting a job on the job board
To post a vacancy on the job board, access the recruitment toolkit through the Member area section of the website (as above - again, available only to logged in Chamber members) and then go to the Sourcing section and the Post-a-Job link.
You need to register as a user within the ECRO toolkit to post a job - just click on the 'Register' link in the menu on the right hand side of the page and fill in your details. You can select whatever user name and password you want when registering on the toolkit, or just use your Chamber member user name and password if you prefer.
Once you are registered as a toolkit user, log into the post-a-job function using your toolkit user name and password.
(Please note that the job board is for members' internal vacancies only and should not be used to post vacancies on behalf of third parties.)
