Research is the activity that balances all the principle constituents of International trade.
It is in itself a discipline of good management where the correct interpretation of the information is a substantial contributor to sustainable growth.
Research is also a complex discipline - approaching a science - requiring specific techniques and skills in the selection and formation of questions to which answers are required.
Our role is in assisting companies in the development of a Research Brief that will enable managers to assess the degree of potential offered by the target markets, how best to engage with the market.
Market research can be a costly activity, so the Brief is further refined to ensure its expected response is aligned to what management need to know and what management must know before any conclusion can be arrived at as to market potential.
The edited Brief is transformed to a Research Remit, the document that leads on the market research.
To assist with the discharge of the Remit we are able to utilise the extensive resources that are available with our sister-chambers in global markets, and we also draw-down from the resources that are available through our Business Gateway colleagues.
This is a chargeable service.
