International Trade OnLine is a custom built web-based learning tool offering modules encompassing four areas of international trade.
Module 1: Documentation
Module 1 offers comprehensive illustrations, case studies and inter-active sections allowing the user to gain an understanding of the role of individual documents within international trade transactions. It includes an interactive section allowing the user to experience at first hand the process required to complete the respective documents.
Module 2: Incoterms
Module 2 addresses the subject of international trade Delivery terms, most commonly known as 'Incoterms'. The module provides extensive illustrations, case studies and definitions, and an interactive section that allows the user to gauge their knowledge of the subject in total confidence.
Module 3: Letters of Credit
Module 3 covers Documentary Letters of Credit, using a Documentary Letter of Credit template to illustrate and interpret clearly the 33 headings that typically constitute such letters. Case studies are also provided to help users understand the role and disciplines of a Documentary Letter of Credit.
Module 4: International Trade Law
Module 4 is an optional module providing an overview of the legal aspects of international trade. The Module does not seek to provide solutions to any particular legal issue, rather to help the user understand the areas of law that can impact on international transaction.
