Selling to the MOD Breakfast
The UK is the second largest defence exporter in the world with SMEs currently awarded 42 per cent of equipment contracts & many others contributing to Defence & Security programmes as sub-contractors. New measures arising from the military equipment strategy will make it easier for smaller Defence contractors to compete for Government tenders, help them develop new products and provide expert advice to help them export. The Defence Suppliers’ Service is the MOD focal point for the provision of advice & guidance to companies wishing to sell their products & services to the Ministry of Defence. Philip Margerison from the Defence Suppliers’ Service will give a presentation on ‘Selling to the MOD’ to members at this event. This event is run in partnership with the Fife Chamber of Commerce.
