The North Edinburgh Business Incubator (NEBI) was formed from a partnership between a number of citywide and local economic development organisations.
NEBI opened in October 2004 and has continually expanded the number of clients it works with, and the services provided.
NEBI aims to:
- Encourage entrepreneurial activity and improve business start up within the North Edinburgh Social Inclusion Partnership area.
- Maximise local business access to opportunities brought by the development of Edinburgh's Waterfront.
- Up-skill the local business community to take advantage of new business opportunities.
- Provide easier access to mainstream business support services.
Our supporters
We are able to deliver these aims through the hard work and support of our staff, steering group, funders and other supporters:

Specialist advisers
There are times when our clients need help in a specialist area, be it legal advice, e-commerce and websites, accountancy, banking enquiries, premises, exporting, intellectual property rights and more. Through links to mainstream services we can arrange advice from specialists as required.
