Deputy Chief Executive
Graham is Deputy Chief Executive, with specific responsibility for membership, sales, retention, policy, strategy and communications. A former journalist and director of communications and marketing in the tourism sector at national and local level, Graham’s now turned his attention to Edinburgh Chamber’s ambitious strategy to achieve 2,000 members by April 2007; and 5,000 by April 2010.
Dorothy Webster
Head of Membership Sales
Dorothy has been given the task of building up the sales team to take membership up to 5000. The sales team are enjoying promoting the concept of ‘Inspiring Connections’ across every service of Edinburgh Chamber, and helping members to get the most out of their membership.

Claire is a Sales Executive within the Membership Team who is responsible for approaching businesses and explaining the benefits of becoming a member of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce.

Melanie is a Sales Executive for the membership team, building relationships with new and existing clients and giving advice on the benefits of joining the Chamber Of Commerce.

Sharon’s main responsibility is to help increase membership of the Chamber and ensure that our members are utilising their membership to it’s full potential including facilitating meetings between members.

Jon Pelling
Member Relations Executive
Jon is a former NatWest Manager from Cash Management Services London and now a self-employed business consultant who has worked on contract to Edinburgh Chamber since 2004 - initially as a Business Adviser, and latterly as Member Relations Executive. Responsible for Member Retention, Subscription Credit Control and general well being of established members of Chamber.
Fiona Duffy
Communications & Marketing Executive
Fiona is responsible for the implementation of the Edinburgh Chamber marketing & IT strategy. Including all member orientated internal and external communications, Business Comment magazine, Desk Diary and other printed/electronic publications.
Dita Macfarlane
Network Support Executive
Improving and supporting the management of systems (including SharePoint) and databases to facilitate improvements in optional efficiency and membership retention. Assisting with ECC marketing and web development.
Graham Bell
Press & Policy Consultants
Graham handles the publicity side of the Chamber’s activity with the media, politicians etc. He is close to the heart of Edinburgh Chamber’s policy making, which is an essential background to being ‘the true voice of business’. With twenty years experience of running his own businesses and a wide range of contacts he’s available to activate campaigns, respond to press enquiries, and reinforce the impact of members’ views whenever necessary.
Amanda McGrath
Chief Inspector, Lothian and Borders Police - Business Community Liaison Officer
On one year’s secondment to engage with business community to establish a mutually beneficial communications network i.e. support and advice on protection against criminality affecting business assets, business continuity planning and improved information sharing.
