Here are details of some of the employee schemes you will benefit from as a member of the Edinburgh Chamber team:
Pension Scheme
The Chamber operates a non-contributory Group Personal pension scheme provided by Standard Life. The Chamber pays the equivalent of 6% of an employee's annual salary into the scheme on behalf of the employee.
The employee is of course free to make their own contribution into the scheme which is portable if the employee leaves the service of The Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce.
Employees join the scheme after successful completion of a standard three month probationary period.
Death In Service Benefit
On death whilst in the employment of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce a sum equivalent to twice final salary at time of death is payable to the estate of the deceased employee.
Employees may identify an individual they would like to elect as the beneficiary of this sum.
The Chamber is an Investors In People Accredited organisation.
