History
Dorothy founded DML in January 2012 after 30 years working in senior HR positions. She has been quoted as saying “I started the business hoping it would be part-time and take me to my retirement”. However, her love of helping people, self-belief, recommendations, building a team of specialist associates and latterly employees and repeat clients helped her drive her business forward – and enjoy every minute of it. DML in turn celebrated its 10th birthday this year and continues to thrive.
Our Clients & Services
Over the years, DML have facilitated and led training programmes for various organisations and been chosen by countless organisations to support them through complex investigations, external customer complaints and mediations. To date, the business has supported a wide range of industries – including Education, Charities, Local government authorities, Engineering, Manufacturers, Hospitality and Sports & Leisure. We are currently supporting clients with various Hybrid Working and Organisational Design projects. This year, DML designed and delivered Complex Investigation Training for Managers of a large public sector client, as well as An Introduction to Bullying, Harassment & The Law workshop for a private Engineering firm. Many clients use us to support their HR Teams to help deliver time sensitive deadlines. We can do this as a one-off project or as an ongoing Pay as You Go service (no monthly commitment or retainers required).
Values
Our values drive us every day. We care, we use clear down to earth language with clients, and very much believe in “Doing the Right Thing”. This means that we listen, support you and we give back where we can by running free taster workshops to our clients and individuals in important topics, some of which have included Domestic Abuse in the Workplace: Transforming Conversations and The Active Bystander.
We would love to support any of you and are here as and if you need us. Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We hope to speak with you soon.
